Now entering its third consecutive season, the Golden Bears Selects program is the top opportunity in Alberta for young football players to train, grow, and compete at an elite level. Designed to develop the province’s top talent, this program connects ambitious athletes with University of Alberta Golden Bears coaches, players, and facilities.

This isn’t just another camp—it’s a true team experience. Players will train, practice, break down film, and learn advanced offensive and defensive systems alongside current Golden Bears student-athletes and staff. Over the winter months, the team will gather on select weekends to prepare for high-level tournaments, with games planned in February or early March 2026—including a possible matchup against a top Ontario squad and even international competition. We're also looking at hosting our own tournament right here at Foote Field!

This program offers much more than on-field reps—it’s a launchpad for future university athletes.
